Y12 Theater Trip: A Christmas Carol by ARTED NET

The Y12 students began the last five weeks of this Term with an inspiring and festive outing to the theater to see A Christmas Carol, performed in English by the talented ARTED NET.

Few stories bring the holiday season to life like Charles Dickens’ masterpiece! This timeless tale, often considered the best short story ever written, reminds us that Christmas is not just about feasting and shopping, but about sharing joy, kindness, and compassion.

ARTED NET has a mission: to bring the performing arts to schools, cultural institutions, NGOs, and diverse communities across the globe. This international team of independent producers bridges the gap between creativity and education, collaborating with artists, theater companies, and schools to promote learning through the arts. They believe that theater is not a privilege but a powerful tool for education and connection, making culture accessible to all, no matter the location.

As Dickens’ classic story warns, “unless despair and poverty are banished,” true joy is fleeting. The Christmas Spirit is about sharing—especially with those in need. This outing was more than a theater trip; it was a reminder of what makes the holiday season truly meaningful.

Happy December to all! ✨
