Celebrating Togetherness and Success: Reflections on Term 1 at Vector International Academy
23. 12. 2024At Vector International Academy, the last day of Term 1 was a shining example of the community spirit that defines us. From Secret Santa exchanges during extended form time to the whole school table tennis tournament and Mr. Kisovec’s iconic holiday quiz, the day was brimming with laughter and joy, leaving everyone with warm memories to close out Term 1.
As we reflect on this term, we’re proud of the remarkable progress and accomplishments of our students: Y10s – a strong sense of camaraderie and academic enthusiasm, Y11s – increased focus and determination as they prepare for IGCSE exams and explore the prospects of the IB Diploma Programme, Y12s – a seamless adaptation to the IB Diploma challenges, as well as preparations for the national physics debating competition, Y13s – tireless work on coursework and university applications, with early admissions to Economics at Bocconi University and the Maastricht Science Program – Congratulations!!!
Our student-athletes continue to amaze with their ability to balance demanding academics with intense training schedules. Their resilience and passion inspire us all.
The upcoming weeks in January hold much to look forward to, including: the IB Diploma presentation for Year 11s, a Physics trip to the nuclear reactor, a Geography urban fieldwork trip, and the much-anticipated team-building Ski Trip to Golte.
As we break for the holidays, we extend our gratitude to students, parents, teachers, and staff for making VIA the exceptional community it is. Rest, recharge, and enjoy the festive season with loved ones.
Wishing everyone a joyful holiday season and a prosperous New Year!
